We felt the Lord leading our church to adopt a school. Following the leading of God, we began to search for opportunities to serve in our local schools. It was not our desire to go into the school to proselytize but to demonstrate the love of Jesus by supporting and serving the staff and students. We recognize the rise in violence in our schools and other disruptive behaviors. We also recognize the massive load that is placed on teachers today. Not only are they educators, but they often are protectors against bullies, and on top of that they find themselves acting as parents for kids where the parents are not present. So with a vision and a passion to serve our search began. 

God provided an open door at Coosa Middle School. Our church body works with the staff of Coosa Middle School to invest in the next generation. We do so by meeting on campus and praying every month. We provide mentors, lunch room monitors, and volunteers for other events. Our Pastor participates in FCA huddles regularly as well as events like See You at the Pole. We also minister to the needs of staff and families as given opportunity. There is so much more we can do, but we need you to partner and serve with us.
